1. The ability to have knowledge about basic design, history and technical aspects to practice interior design profession and to use the theoretical, methodological and applied knowledge in these fields together to develop interior design suggestions and applications,
2. The ability to be sensitive to the interiors and built environments we live in, to identify the problems and needs in these spaces from a critical and rational perspective,
3. The ability to create and apply modern, creative and aesthetic design suggestions under realistic physical, social and economic constraints within the context of aesthetic values and user needs,
4. The ability to act with a designer notion at all stages of interior architecture projects from design to implementation; to choose and use effectively modern tools, techniques and technologies related to project design, design, drawing, software, application issues to be used in this process,
5. The ability to access information on concepts, discussions and developments in the field of interior architecture; for this purpose, the ability to search resources, search databases and other sources of information,
6. The ability to analyze the collected data, synthesize different information and thoughts, interpret the results obtained and use them in the interior design process,
7. The ability to work in teams, work effectively as a team in multidisciplinary fields, communicate and take responsibility,
8. The ability to work individually and use initiative,
9. The ability to communicate effectively in Turkish, both orally and in writing,
10. To have at least one foreign language knowledge to follow and use professional literature and other international developments on interior architecture, and to communicate with colleagues,
11. The ability to present analysis, findings, results, suggestions and evaluations of a professional idea or an architectural project with visual elements and to write reports on the subject when necessary,
12. To be aware of the necessity of lifelong learning; the ability to follow the developments in science and technology in the subjects required by the field and to constantly renew itself in accordance with these developments,
13. The awareness of professional, scientific and ethical responsibility concerning the interior design profession,
14. The awareness of project and site management and practices, employee health, environmental and occupational safety, awareness of the legal consequences of interior design practices,
15. To be aware of the universal, social and environmental effects of interior design and applications; to be aware of sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship.
