Program Learning Outcomes
– Develop innovative, multi-dimensional solutions in the design process by using creative, critical, and analytical thinking skills, with regard for environmental, social, and individual well-being.
– By effectively employing scientific and up-to-date research methods, professional regulations, and technological tools, generate and implement solutions that address interiors’ sensory, emotional, ergonomic, and physical comfort needs.
– In issues specific to interior architecture, make decisions and assume responsibility with high universal, environmental, social, economic, artistic, and cultural sensitivity, prioritizing human and environmental comfort and grounding actions in professional ethics and legal regulations.
– While preserving an original designer identity formed through theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, work individually and/or as a team member; propose contemporary, creative, scientific, high-quality, and aesthetic solutions, and implement them.
– When faced with a professional problem individually: identify the problem; collect and interpret relevant data; analyze it; synthesize it with theoretical and practical knowledge to generate new ideas; and represent these ideas in two and three dimensions using the basic elements and principles of design.
– In national and international, multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, lead and collaborate in both the native language and in English; communicate effectively—oral and written—with professional stakeholders using current information and communication technologies; take on and delegate responsibility.
– Develop professional self-awareness, self-confidence, self-respect, and self-efficacy; safeguard one’s own well-being needs with a lifelong-learning mindset and ensure continuous development.
– By integrating professional history, culture, technology, and material knowledge, create sustainable and innovative design solutions—from the furniture scale to the building scale—and, from project design through internship and implementation stages, develop these solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
