INAR 342 Urban Interiors (202)
Urban design involves the arrangement and design of buildings, public spaces, transport systems, services, and amenities. Putting together ‘Urban’ and ‘Interiors’ in urban design, two phenomena is accentuated. On one hand, a new terminology and a fresh insight to design of urban elements is proposed. With this terminology, urban spaces may be viewed from a new perspective as if designers look at interior spaces. Also, this new way of looking at urban spaces, may deem it possible to propose new forms and to invent new places. While conventional descriptions concentrate on the issue that urban design blends architecture, landscape architecture, city planning, engineering, and development economics together to make urban areas functional and attractive, discussing urban interiors adds another ingredient to the blend.

INAR 300 Summer Practice (000)
INAR 300 Summer Practice is the second summer practice in the curriculum of the Interior Architecture department. It has a different process than the other undergraduate courses of the department in terms of its structure and timing.
