1 – To access the necessary knowledge related to concepts, discussions, and developments in the field of design, and to effectively search and use databases and other information sources.

2 – To critically analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the ideas and methods developed in the field of design, and to conduct academic research in the field.

3 – To analyze the collected data, integrate various knowledge and ideas, interpret findings, and apply them in the design process.

4 – To share the knowledge and findings obtained from scientific research in an academic environment with a clear and systematic approach.

5 – To use information and communication technologies to carry out an original study independently, to present ideas, analyses, findings, and evaluations in the field of design, and to contribute to progress in the field.

6 – To expand the boundaries of scientific knowledge by producing and interpreting original scientific studies in the field of design and publishing at least one scientific article in national and/or international peer-reviewed journals.

7 – To effectively present and defend ideas in environments where scientific research topics in the field of design are discussed, and to demonstrate competence in the field.

8 – To develop, deepen, and reach original definitions that will bring innovation to the field by enhancing acquired knowledge at the level of expertise through original thinking and/or research, with an awareness of professional, scientific, and ethical responsibilities related to the academic environment.

9 – To raise awareness of social and ethical responsibilities in academic studies and to achieve original results by integrating, synthesizing, and evaluating information and decisions.

10 – To evaluate a task using scientific knowledge in the field of design, and to establish functional interaction in solving encountered problems through strategic decision-making processes.

11 – To provide leadership in necessary environments with an awareness of the universal, social, and environmental impacts of a multidisciplinary research setting.

12 – To communicate effectively in oral and written form in English at least at the C1 General Level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
